GENESIS Centre for Education and Developmental Studies was established to assist individuals in acquiring education and guidance according to their capabilities so that they can go on to achieve their goals and dreams.

Genesis motivates students from 14 years of age in their studies and provides career counselling services to higher secondary school students.  We coach candidates in such a way that they acquire admission into institutes of their preference and guide them to find what is the best choice for their individual careers.  We also provide skill development and training for those who wish to take up vocational courses.  

We understand the caliber of employees and working professionals with the help of psychometric analysis and mentoring tools.  Once their SWOT reports are analyzed, we guide them on the next steps required to be taken to achieve their goals.  Genesis provides coaching in terms of communication, leadership and motivational aspects, all of those which help the individuals to upskill and upgrade themselves constantly and consistently.

Dr. Neela Ganguly Sundaram pursued her Doctorate in Politics and Public Administration from the Department of Politics and Public Administration at the University of Madras, Chennai. With a strong acumen for disciplines in the Humanities and Social Sciences, she also has a master’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science and Management Studies. During her illustrious decade-long career as a lecturer at the same university, she authored a book named ‘Slums of India’ based on her research.  Trained in Bharatnatyam and traditional Bengali dance, she also has a fashion label under her ownership named ‘Kalyani’. Her undying interest to take education to every citizen led her to establish Genesis Centre for Education and Developmental Studies (GCEDS).  With a drive to help people acquire quality education, Dr. Neela wishes to eliminate the gap caused by circumstances like poverty and lack of access. As a career counsellor, she makes sure that her mentees are well-informed and guided appropriately so they can achieve their goals and excel in life.
